Privacy Policy

Noxify operates under the domain noxify.io. We build and operate Shopify apps for merchants, including Presswall (press / “As Seen On” logo strips) and other products listed on https://noxify.io.

This policy covers:

• Our marketing site at https://noxify.io and related pages (including this privacy policy, terms, and support).
• Shopify apps we publish under the Noxify brand, including Presswall hosted at presswall.noxify.io.

Shopify’s own processing of merchant and end-customer data is governed by Shopify’s policies and your agreement with Shopify. We only process data as needed to provide and secure our apps.

Marketing website. Our marketing site is primarily static. If you email us, we process the content of your message and your email address.

Shopify apps (e.g. Presswall). When you install and use an app, we may process:

• Shop identifiers (e.g. myshopify.com domain, shop ID where provided by Shopify).
• OAuth session data for the Admin API (including access tokens and refresh tokens) so the app can run on your behalf after install.
• App configuration you create: press strip settings, selected outlet logos, custom uploaded logos, layout/style preferences, and related storefront config we sync via Shopify APIs or app proxy.
• Technical logs needed to operate and debug the service (e.g. request timing, error messages). We do not use these to profile individual storefront shoppers.

Customer personal data. Presswall’s core features do not require storing Shopify customer names, emails, phone numbers, or order history. If Shopify sends GDPR-related webhooks that reference a customer, we respond according to Shopify’s requirements; we do not maintain a separate customer profile database for Presswall.

• Authenticate the app and keep offline sessions working.
• Provide the product (admin UI, storefront embed/proxy, theme integration, logo library).
• Sync configuration you choose to your shop (e.g. metafields).
• Respond to uninstall and compliance webhooks from Shopify.
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
• Respond to merchant support requests.

We do not sell merchant or shopper personal data.

Our apps use Shopify Admin APIs and, where configured, app proxy and theme app extensions. We receive webhooks such as app uninstalled and Shopify’s mandatory compliance topics (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). On uninstall or shop redact we delete shop-scoped app data we store (sessions, banner/logo configuration, and related records).

App data is hosted on infrastructure we control or contract, which may include:

• Application hosting (e.g. cloud VPS / container hosting).
• Database services (e.g. managed libSQL / SQLite-compatible DB).
• Secret management and infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud secrets and DNS) used only to run the product securely.

Processing may occur in the United States or other regions where our providers operate. We use subprocessors solely to deliver the service, not to sell data.

We retain shop configuration and session data while the app remains installed and as needed to operate the service. When you uninstall the app, or when Shopify sends a shop redact request, we purge shop-scoped data associated with that install (including sessions and Presswall configuration). Residual backups, if any, are rotated on a limited schedule.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Merchants can uninstall the app at any time from Shopify admin. For privacy requests, email support@noxify.io with your shop domain and the request type. We may need to verify that you control the shop.

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to a Shopify app (HTTPS, restricted secrets, session handling aligned with Shopify’s auth model). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please protect your Shopify admin access.

Our services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site or apps after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
